A flyable Douglas DC3 in camouflage colours. This aircraft and Dakota variants were probably the most versatile transport aircraft of their time. It had a top speed of 237 mph (381 kph) and an all up weight of 11400 kg.

This flying model has retractable undercarriage operated by the pantograph key, but if the aircraft is used under AI, the wheels will automatically retract before it has left the ground.

The propellors are constant speed, simulated blades. The aircraft tilts and banks realistically. It does not have an operating interior, but does have various exterior views based on an invisible interior, use the [ and ] keys from the interior view.

The aircraft will load passengers and general goods at suitable airports.

Note the model engine specification is set up for operation in TC3. Original settings for acceleration and deceleration suitable for TRS2006 will not allow the aircraft to accelerate in TC3 - the settings have been increased by a factor of 4. If you find the aircraft accelerates too fast in TRS2006, reduce these setting to one quarter of their value.
