Yosemite Valley did not last long enough to dieselize, shutting down in August of 1945. If it ordered GP9's, they could have looked like this. I used the blue and yellow colors because University of California at Merced, which opened only recently, uses these colors and I surmised that they COULD have gotten the idea from the YVRR.
