BETA VERSION I will be updating Attachment Points, Cab View and Sound Files. The PRR 2-8-0 (Consolidation) engine was the main fright engine use on PRR grain run from Chicago to the east cost during the Second World War. I read somewhere that throughout the war, 40 to 50-car grain train left the Chicago yards every 15 minutes. The grain-run engine was the H9 being set apart from the other PRR 2-8-0 by having two large air reserve tanks hung under the cab. I believe this characteristic feature was found on H9 used west of the Smoke Mountains This unusual feature caught my attention and so here is my creation. The POLYCOUNT for this dated version is a bit over 14k, however I expect to reduce this number to below 13,000. You will need to download the Drivers and the lead truck from the DLS. The drawing I used for this project can be found in Model Railroader Cyclopedia, Volume 1 Steam Locomotives, page 55.
