This is a model of a typical, VR 'I' Type, all steel Water Tower with the smaller capacity of 6000 gallons, only. Although similar to the Type 'A' in appearance, the design of these tanks, which utilises only 6 cast iron posts for support (as opposed to the 10 used in the Type 'A' design), as well as their maximum capacity of 10,000 gallons, distinguish them from their sisters. This model is textured to represent a relatively 'older' (slightly rusted) installation that was originally painted in the VR's Oxide Red scheme. These units were located throughout the state of Victoria and used primarily at smaller terminal locations and locomotive depots, where the larger 10,000 gallon, Type 'I' Towers (available separately by the same author) would have been ''inappropriate''. The model is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or later.
