As part of the ''VR Type 'B' Generic Station - 1c'' asset (by the same author and available separately), which, itself, was based on an actual protype, it was deemed essential to 'recreate' the signalbox that overlooked the train movements at that location, in the form of the ''VR Type 'B' Generic Signalbox - 1c''. This signalbox would be needed if a user of the aforementioned station complex were to ''re-instate'' the former yard and interlocking that existed at the original station location (or any other yard and interlocking - for that matter). Unlike other VR Signalboxes of this type, this 'box' was (it is no longer extant), a bespoke design, in that it was only 12' in width (as opposed to the usual 15'), in order to permit it to 'fit' between two tracks (admittedly two such tracks a bit further apart than the usual 13' centres). In addition, this box was designed with a 'lower' locking room, placing the floor of the operating room closer to the actual ground level than would normally be the case (I'm not exactly sure of the reason for this). As with the prototype, this can be used to advantage in other locations where a lack of room might not permit a full sized sigbnalbox to fit. Of course, any other VR signalbox could be used in leiu of this one and this one couuld be used in any other interlocking. As with the other assets in this series, this 'box' has the capabililty of being used as the 'housing' for a Trainz Surveyor camera (for which the 'tracking' type is recommended) so that one might view the passage of trains, as if located within the signalbox, toward this end, it has a complete interior as part of the mesh. Because of this, there are no 'interior' views nor any associated 'external' views. It is intended for use in Trainz version TS 2012 or above.
