This is a model of a typical VR Type 'B' Wooden Signalbox of the specific design, within the type, intended to be 'mounted' solely on a platform. Toward that end, it is raised from normal ground level accordingly and as such, is incapable of being varied in height. Although outwardly identical in appearance to the VR Type 'B' Generic Signalbox - 2a, this particular version of the design has a number of modifications (both mesh and texture) to provide for variation in multiple use throughout any given route. Some of these include (but are not limited to), the full length awning, the modern sized windows and the heretofore never used 'wavy' edge often applied to roof Barge Boards by the VR architects. As a KIND 'scenery' item, it can be placed anywhere on a route without the need for additional Invisible Track (although somewhere towards the rear of the platform of a substantial interlocked junction or station with a medium sized shunting yard would be appropriate). It also has the capabililty of being used as the 'housing' for a Trainz Surveyor camera (for which the 'tracking' type is recommended) so that one might view the passage of trains, as if located within the signalbox, Toward this end it has a complete interior as part of the mesh. Because of this, there are no 'interior' views nor any associated 'external' views. It is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or above.
