This is a model of a typical, VR Type 'E' Timber Station. This is the largest of the timber built types, with a design that includes Refreshment and Dining Rooms and their associated preparation areas. For variation in multiple use throughout a route, this 'version' of the structure is provided in different textures, without the attached yard area and with an 'open' entrance area (as opposed the the VR Type 'E' Generic Station's gated one). Because of the size of this structure it is specifically designed to be used on an island platform (having verandahs provided on both sides of the structure). The design is based on the 'standard' plans for such stations as issued by the Ways & Works Branch, which are then modified by individual architects when designing any specific station. The asset is provided with a typical VR style nameboard to utilise the Trainz 'name' capability, allowing up to twelve characters in the name (thirteen if one is an 'I'), however, because of the size of the building, there six such signs (three on each side), in this intance. It is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or later.
