The Canadian Pacific Railways main line originally crossed the Columbia River at Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada on a Howe Deck Truss bridge. This was known as the second crossing as, from east to west, the line first crossed the Columbia River north of Golden then again at Revelstoke.
