Commonwealth Railways GM37 to GM47 Class Diesel Electric Locomotive enginespec.
The GM37 Class Locomotive entered service from 1966 at Clyde Engineering New South Wales fitted with Dynmaic Brake equipment, the Locomotive was of a Co-Co bogie motor arrangement based of the Victorian Railways B Class, on it's way to South Australia it was transfered to Broad Guage at Albury for it to Travel via Victoria to South Australia which it was put back on Standard Guage, GM group numbers 37 to 39 where fitted with D-67's and numbers 40 to 47 where fitted with D-77's..
