SR Cross-Channel Ferry. The Worthing was built for the Southern Railway and launched on 3 May 1928. She was operated by Southern Railway Between Newhaven and Dieppe until the Second World War, when she was requisitioned as a troop carrier, eventually re-joining the SR fleet in 1945. She was withdrawn in 1954. In 1955 she was sold and moved to Greece, where she was renamed the Phryni.
