This station at Hallstead, PA was built in 1915 by the DL&W. The original structure was
much smaller then this model consisting of only the small section where the Hallstead sign is mounted.
This model reflects the building as it appeared in the early 80's after being greatly expanded to house
an upscale NYC-style restaurant called Francescas. After the restaurant closed the building housed two
different electronics manufacturing firms, both of which also met thier demise during the various economic
downturns. Today the building houses a company which manufactures military lasers. Made by request for the
