This is a ruler 100 metres long, for accurate measuring horizontally in Surveyor. It is a kind fixed track so multiple rulers can be attached to each other to make a longer ruler.

You can rotate the ruler or multiple joined rulers and change the height but if other copies of the ruler are attached, the height of each attached ruler must be adjusted separately. This is useful where the ground slopes, and the joined rulers can be stepped (different heights).

Use Alt fly in 2004 or Alt u in 2006 to move in closer to read the ruler.

I needed the ruler to accurately measure the spacing of already placed track in Surveyor, to make a matching transfer table. I hope you find it useful.
