This is a model of a typical VR Type 'F' Country Station. This is the first and only design intended for construction from Bluestone blocks (with Slate Roof Tiles), the first of the official designs that includes a second storey containing the bedrooms for the resident Station Master. To provide for variety in multiple use therougout a route, this 'version' of the design is a simple, basic installation (compared to the similarly designed VR Type 'F' Generic Station), without the residential extension or the Goods Shed. The design is based on the 'standard' plans for such stations as issued by the Ways & Works Branch, which are then modified by individual architects when designing any specific station. The asset is provided with a standard Trainz 'name' attachment point but unlike the remainder of the series, there is no associated nameboard, instead the name is 'painted' directly onto the corrugated iron fencing that separates the platform from the yard (a practise used up until the 1940s with this station desugn). Because of this, the length of the station name that may be applied is limited only to the full length of the fence. This asset is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or later.
